The beach on the shores of picturesque Lake Viljandi has something for young and old alike. Measuring 2200m², the sand-covered area has a range of attractions for children of different ages – swings, slides, climbing frames, monkey bars, a pyramid that stands more than 6 metres high, a Tarzan track and more. Some of the attractions can be used by adults as well. 
A boardwalk with seating divides the playground into two parts so as to make it easier to walk around, push a pram or stroller and keep an eye on the kids.
There is a swimming area nearby, as well as boat hire and areas for ball games. A hiking trail also winds its way around the lake..
