A few hundred metres from the Lahmuse Manor, you will find the Lahmuse watermill on the shore of a beautiful artificial lake, where mill equipment and a round-arched dryer have preserved.In summer, Lahmuse provides an overview on Estonian mills, the history of grain processing from the Stone Age stones and the medieval handstones, the formation of mills, and mill equipment and works. The film shows how the mill equipment works and why and what kind of grain was ground.
The basement floor of the mill offers the joy of discovery to those interested in technology. The turbine, shaft transmissions, and the historic Deutz piston engine are on display.
